cruised to a six-wicket win over Hampshire in Natwest Twenty20 Blast at
the County Ground in Taunton on Sunday (June 19).
Chasing 134, Somerset polished off the chase in 15.4 overs with Chris Gayle hammering a 39-ball 52.

Overton dismantled Hampshire batting line-up with a four-wicket haul
even as Liam Dawson fought with a 34-ball 46. With no significant
partnerships flourishing Hampshire had to settle for a par score.
In
their chase, Somerset were reduced 28 for two. Gayle then collaborated
with Mahela Jayawardene (45) to take the team to a comfortable win.

Warwickshire v Lancashire
In a rain-hit contest at Edgbaston, Warwickshire sealed a 18-run win by Duckworth-Lewis Stern method over Lancashire.
Warwickshire
posted 144 for nine in their 20 overs with Luke Ronchi top scoring with
a 35-ball 53. Nathan Buck bagged four sticks for just 26 runs.
The
Lancashire chase never really got going and they were reduced 39 for
four in 6.3 overs before rain meant an early end to the game.

Yorkshire v Derbyshire
Rain
affected the clash between Yorkshire and Derbyshire with the latter
sealing a close one-run win by Duckworth-Lewis Stern method at the
Headingley.
Derbyshire managed to post 153 for
nine despite batsmen getting starts and not converting it into a big
one. Tim Bresnan kept things in check and ended with figures of three
for 22.
Adam Lyth (30) and Kane Williamson (21) helped the team post 67 for three in nine overs before rain interrupted play.
